Hey guys,
I’m Vivian, I’m in my thirties and I live in The Hague (if you haven’t heard of it, it’s a city in Holland).
My main aim with this blog is to be honest with you. To share my real journey with God, and my honest perspective on things that matter to me. So, to be honest (pun was definitely intended): I have not been a Christian long; since about September 2016. That makes my experience limited; and I know that. So I won’t tell you what you should or shouldn’t do or believe. It is not my place to do any of that. What I will tell you, though, is my own perspective and how I deal with things. In my own experience, I have learned that a personal story, of mistakes, love, grace, failure, doubt, perseverance, fear, (in other words a story) of life, can truly change lives. Besides, I cannot honestly tell you any other story than my own.
Now, to be extra honest, my life is super messy! I stumble through it, because there are way to many things I trip over to walk normally. But I think many people can relate to that, because following Jesus is not for the faint of heart. So, by the grace of God, I get to grow each and every day. He encourages me to learn new things and to get to know Him better and the world He created.
So, as you read this blog, I hope that you are equally encouraged to learn new things and to get to know God better. He has so many facets that He reveals to each of us differently. By sharing our stories, we get to put those facets together and get a clearer image of the God who loves us all.
